AIR CONDITIONING - TIPS AND TRICKS
There's better then the enjoyment of air conditioning on hot days and nights... until you get the electricity bill. Don't let the heat bust your bank balance. Here's a few helpful tips to keeping your cool..
1. Always close windows, blinds and curtains. The heat outside will come in through the glass even when the windows are closed. Closing the blinds and curtains plays a big part in keeping you cool.
2. Keep it on 24oc. This is the optimum temperature setting of operational efficency and cost effectiveness.
3. Turn it on early. If a hot day or night is approaching, turning on the A/C early won't take as long to cool the space.
4. Maintain your Air con. Nothing is more disappointing then the air con not working when it's needed most. Cleaning filters, clearing debris from outdoor units and regular checks to ensure it's operating normally will ensure you need it at the right time.
